Everything we write, from the spilled ink on journals to the rambles and rants in our blogs, is our attempt to make sense of this mad world. We are filled with thoughts. We have feelings that boil inside of us waiting for the opportunity to burst out, yet most of the time we never encounter that opportunity. Words help us articulate those feelings, we unleash them onto the physical world. And somehow that act makes us feel better, and that’s why most of us keep on writing.
